The day started great with me being hungry, and I'm in the south, and they have my favorite place on EARTH . .
Yes friends, Krystal Hamburgers . . I'm living right when I can have a Krystals. Here is a little tease for you:

Yes friends, Heaven on a bum, right here on Earth! For those of you that have not tried these little bombs of JOY, they are like a While Castle, only better ;-) After filling my belly, filling the bike, and scrubbing a thouysand bugs off the windscreen, I hit the road across Mississippi. Straight into the storms:
Wet Roads
Big storm clouds ahead and on a bike you know your'e going to get wet
Getting darker
Then it hits! I had to hunder down, run about 45-50, road slippery, but being a desert rat from Vegas, it was warm and felt great after the sweltering humidity AND it cleaned the bugs off the windscreen . . The cup was half full, right? I couldn't really get a picture of the worst part because it was just too dangerous to let go of the handlebars to snap a picture. This shot was as it started slowing down, but trust me it was a gusher!!!
Then the sky blued up and I had a great ride across MS and Alabama (Mobile) and into Florida!
Big grass farms that they sell to truf your lawn
This ain't Vegas, Todo . . . The streets have actual Spanish Moss and looked like tunnels. Cool!!!
Then I started hitting bridges and water with a beautiful sky . . .
OK, a little fast, I know that's what you looked at first . . . THE WATER!!! That's my point on the GPS. This is the GPS shot and this was the real shot:

Pretty Cool drive :-)
Got to Nick's Apt first (Sammi's intended) (A young Marine fly boy in Helo training at Whitting Field)
Up and down a narrow street ;-)
They took me to eat and a great Rib place where we chowed down till we couldn't hardly walk out of there. Nick had a big test and check ride today, so Sammi and I left for her place to let him study and get some rest.
She lives about 40 min away in Crestview FL. down I-10 East. Not a bad drive at all. She showed me her new Apartment, a thousand times better than that getto place she lived before, and much safer area. About a 20-30 min drive to Eglin AFB, but I like this place a lot better.
Neither of us lasted very long after we unloaded the bike and put the cover over it. She has a great big, long, couch that fit me JUST right. I was asleep in about 30 seconds and didn't wake up for nothing all night except when Sammi left for work about 8am. Promptly went back to sleep . . . Ahh vacation :-)
Well friends, That's Day 10 - 2,453 miles down this road I'm on . . . It's all good!
LUKE Out!
