My destination was to go to Jeff and Cathy Austin's house for the night. Jeff is Judi's brother and we have been friends for 25 plus years. Both were working on a Thursday, so I was in no hurry.
But it was a little too hot and muggy to sit out there ;-)
I was back in the tree mode, but everything is nice and green this time of year:
I got to Columbia about 4:30 and holed up in a MacD's drinking their $1 ice tea. A great value and I got another blog out. Cathy texted me that I was at the wrong address and that they had moved ;-)
I showed up to their beautiful house about 6pm, just in time for Jeff to get home. And what a beautiful home it is. Here are a few shots:

Great hosts for a no notice hospitality check . . . They passed with flying colors! For dinner, Cathy cooked up some fresh green beans and corn on the cob while Jeff grilled some chicken outside and we had a great meal with some good friends . . .
After dinner, they listened to all my stories and looked at pictures of the family from Vegas, Luke and Melissa's new arrival on the way, and all the softball stories they could take . . . ;-)
They filled me on on Jeff's progress in the medical area and he looks like he is doing great and it appears to me a GREAT attitude considering all he has gone through . . . Way to go Jeff!!!! He liked the bike and say he's going to have to get one, now that I have one . . .

While there, I got this great shot of Snake, Laurie, Wesley, and Sarah. I think they are at a wedding in Memphis and having fun. I am headed their way shortly!
It was a great visit and I thank Jeff and Cathy for the good nights sleep. . . Thank you!!!!
