Day 27 - Haden's Lake House - Sat 12 July 2014 - Mileage 5125

A beautiful day in paradise here at the Lake.  Woke up this morning and sat on the porch with a great man, Hank Haden, the "Hammer".  Here is the view from the back elevated porch:

One could get used to this kind of living very quickly.  It's quiet, and just beautiful!  Here are a few shots:

This is his boat house with a pontoon boat, ski boat, 2 jet ski's, a couple of canoes, every water toy known to man!

We had a good breakfast, made by Kendall.  Hank and Eileen have 2 boys, Brent and Ryan.  Ryan's wife is here with their two daughters, Loughren and Kendall, who are doing a summer theater thing, acting in Alice in Wonderland Jr..  Kendal is the White Rabbit and Loughren is a pink flower!  Well, these two bundles of energy have made the trip fun as I have filmed them, and toss them in the water, and flung them off the intertube, and watched them perform the whole day.  They are two little angels and I can't wait to have my own to throw around and spoil!  Hurry up Melissa!!!!! And then have Kennedy grow up faster!!!

After breakfast and an obligatory sit on the dock to let the food digest, while the girl's paddled around

A kid's Heaven!
We got the ski boat out and did some pulling

Here are the guinea pigs, and away we went!

Here are a few shots of the lake . . .

On the porch!

Hank's house with Patch, the dog, who will get ANYTHING out of the water.  I took some slo-mo shots of him jumping, but don't know how to load them on this blog.

After a whole day on or by the water, we took a little nap and got ready to go to the kids play.  They got dressed and put on some of their make-up and away we went for a 30 min drive to Littleton, where the Lakeland Theatre Company puts on plays and workshops all year round.  Here are the girls getting ready to go in  . . .

Two cuties and with the proud grandparents

Kendall on the right as the White Rabbit!  We had special tickets to the VIP area where they served horse doofers and wine and beer and soda's.

The girls after the show with beautiful flowers.  Here is Loughren sitting in the Queen of Heart's chair after the show

We got home about 10:30, all tired.  I stayed up and wrote Friday's blog and went to bed.  Good night all.  Wish you could see and experience this place.  It truly is wonderful!!!!
