The Sunday morning routine at the Atwell's. . . Paper reading and napping by the skinny one!
Checking his schedule before he hits the road and me scratching a lazy dog's belly. Meanwhile, Sigmund sent a couple of random F-4 shots, I have to publish them! For all the Lancers following me:
A LOT of good guys in that shot!
Sunday night we went to the Texas Roadhouse? for dinner. They have the best rolls with ciniminiminim butter. We had a good meal! Passing this Frank Lloyd Wright building on the way. . .
I guess it will have a Ruth Chris Steak House on top and this is where Ms Sarah wants to have her birthday dinner in August
It's an "eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor" kind of place
We got home, sat around, and pretty much hit the rack . . . Sunday down!
Monday was pretty much the same. I worked a couple of blogs while Laurie and Sarah did some shopping. A nap was involved and I came to life as we left for Bufallo Wild Wings for dinner. We meet a cute family, JoAnn and her kids, Kaitlin (sp) and her friend Michael, and later that night her son Sean. We played Trivia with Kaitlin on my team and, of course, we kicked some elementary school teacher's BUTT! She kept scratching her nose with her finger, and I didn't know if that was her IQ or the grade she taught ;-) When a high school history teacher could not dominate a K-eight teacher in trivia. . . well, that would be sad !!!! They whole crowd came over and we played cards well into the night . . . Spoons, and Egyptian Rat Screw in which Laurie STABBED me with her Coke Spoon nails drawing blood. We made her play with gloves
Notice the blood on the heel of my hand. I hope I don't need stitches ;-)
We had a great time until the late night hours and everyone got to bed between midnight and 1am. It wasn't the most exciting day, but much needed rest was had!
And that ends days 35 and 36. I get on the road tomorrow for Alec Pay's house and family. I'm leaving Tuesday and don't need to be there until 6pm Wed night, so I have a whole day and a half to goof off. . . . Yay!!!!
LUKE Out!
